Might be doing him a disservice but seems rather narcissistic and ego centric to be back in the gym training with his belt the morning after... did he do the same after the loss to Warrington?
I would of thought his body would have needed a good rest after along camp and fight. Surely his team sud b advising him to rest and enjoy the moment. Yes go in the gym for pics but not to train.
Galahad does come across as an unlikeable character. That said, credit to him being back in the gym and his impressive performance on Saturday.
I'm going to cut him some slack here and say that he's probably just down the gym to see everyone, show off the belt (he's World Champion, you would, wouldn't you?) and probably to make himself look good because, in 2021, you kind of have to to a degree, especially if you're looked at the way he often is, rightly or wrongly. I understand the negativity towards this but I'm going to look at him purely from what he's done in the ring in the last two years or so and I have to say I think he's a decent, he's not a fun fight for anyone.
I don’t think it does deserve credit for being in the gym. The best possible thing he could’ve done physically is rest and recover.
I doubt it was a heavy session, sometimes a light workout can be better than full on rest, I'm sure he'll have a bit of free time on his hands now after this.
He doesn't do camps. His team have produced World champions from scratch. I doubt he was having a war with Liam Williams.
True, maybe he's pretty OCD in his training approach. I think Fury is the same and probably trains when it would be advisable to rest. Some just need to the routine/mental benefits it brings them.
I think he’s a bit lacking in self awareness. Like his interactions with MJP. They don’t come across as humorous, more so creepy. Also the lack of originality coming out to Nipsey’s “Grinding all my Life” and then writing it as a caption on his IG post after the fight. Andy Ruiz did both a couple years back when he beat Joshua. Be original Bari.
