They need a decent chief support and undercard to drive buys. As I dont know anyone who is excited by seeing Deonkey vs Fury for a 3rd time. It is the triology that no one wanted.
We all wanted AJ v Fury but I'm still intrigued by a 3rd fight it's still the 3rd biggest fight in the division. Would love to see Wilder knock Fury out though.
It would probably do ok if it was on at 10pm in the UK. It won't do that well at 4am or whatever time it'll eventually be on. I think people quite like Fury but not enough to watch this for a 3rd time. I've also got a horrible feeling Wilder is going to win it this time.
I agree this maybe a Wilder win. This whole scenario reminds me of when Fury was meant to face Wlad in a rematch and ended up retiring instead. To what extent does he think he has the beating of Wilder already and is going to take it as a bit of a light touch? I think the delay to the fight was a wise move by Fury, but he now needs to knuckle down.
I saw some revealing comments with John Fury last week. He seemed very pleased that Tyson was back in the UK and gave the impression he'd be part of the training team over here citing too many "hangers on" in the US. I noticed Sugar Hill seemed to be rather enjoying the Vegas/Miami "life" judging by social media. I wonder whether John Fury is also meaning him when talking about "hangers on". I see Fury had Shane and another of his brothers/cousins over in Vegas and they're pretty straight talking so I've got no doubt they'd be very honest if they thought the training setup wasn't optimal.
