But humour me for a second and play devils advocate here for Pac.

imagine:

1) the fight takes place in Manila.
2) the ref keeps allowing Pac to commit illegal moves and not get penalised for it I.e excessive clinching, bending below the waist.
3) Floyd is not allowed painkiller for his hands which he is complaining he injured during camp.
4) 3 weeks later, we find out that Pac had illegal IV fluids in his room and saline conveniently just the right amount to cover up PED use, he didn't declare it to the commission or Floyds camp despite the contracting stipulating him to do so. Meanwhile, a Manila based agency who Pac has been promoting as a gold standard for testing and has shady history as is, issues him a TUE which is outside of their jurisdiction AND that TUE was 21 days after the fight. Initially the Manila commission is furious and after a while and some backroom talk, takes it back like nothing happened. To top it all off, Pac gives the most ridiculous reason for the IV that he could give, contradicting his statements that he’s too small for WW - “I was dehydrated making weight for 147 so I needed IV”.
5) come fight night, Pac runs round, holds, he fights so scared Freddie roach says to him “why are you fighting like you goddamm scared man?”
6) he gets points wins.
7) after the fight, Floyd has hand surgery proving it was damm broken for the fight, before the fight.

Wow, legendary win Pac. Just wow. Nothing dodgy about that win at all Pac.

is that what you would say? I’ve seen you discredit Pacs wins here, of which the circumstances weren’t 1/4th as bad as the Floyd-Pac debacle. So don’t lie to me and be honest.

 

Whether it was his own fault or not (and to be clear any drink driver doesn't get the benefit of the doubt in my book), I'm referring to the dedication to the sport it took to get back in shape, and even more so get back into the ring. I find it highly unlikely that an athlete would put himself through all that hell, get back and dominate Danny Garcia, and look great, just to then fake an injury to duck a 42 year old Pac.

I have not discredited Pacquiao’s wins I just feel Marquez provided a stylistic challenge he could not master in all 4 attempts. As great as Pacquiao has been there are at least 8 ways to beat him. I am not going to humour the crap because the simple truth is Floyd kicked his ass full stop! Making excuses is stupid and just makes Pacquiao look bad and is ridiculous.

2. Fact 2 - Pac was injured. Oh yea, Spence won't fight Pac cos he's injured, that's how serious injuries are.
3. Fact 3 - Floyd got injection for his hand, and Pac didnt fo this shoulder.
4. Fact 4 - Fight took place in Floyds backyard.
5. Fact 5 - Floyd held, ran, bent below the waist excessively.

So dodge all you like, facts don't lie.

And lol at JMM being a stylistic nightmare. It took him 4 fights to get a W, Pac is 2-1-1 vs him and should be 3-1-0 as the first fight, judge admitted to scoring error.

And your obsession with 0. 8 ways to beat him. Firstly, he has 7 wins on his record. 2 of those are robberies. And lol if you think Torrecampo and sangurat are "ways" to beat Pac, you have to be ******ed to look at that fight and think, yes that is the way to beat the current Pac.

Only 1 to legitimately beat Pac was Morales 1. Floyd, for all of the reasons above, get minimal credit for that win. The cards were more stacked against Pac than it was for ODLH vs Pac with the weight fk up and all, therefore, Floyd gets less credit for his win over Pac than Pac did for ODLH.

He will never be the same if the injury is even real.
And on the PR side, you can't reason out with the fans of the sport and always expect an intelligent response. They will always see that Spence ducked and for good reason. Look around social media right now. Sure there are 1 or 2 people defending Spence but the rest just see a duck. There's no coming back from this. I have worked in the same industry. I'm telling you the PR damage is irreversible.
