Bruno is way too big for Ruiz to hide. He will be too strong for Ruiz' clinching and young Bruno was pretty quick also. So I think Ruiz will have problems to run away all the fight. + Bruno is able to fire some long extended shots just right through the Guards.
I can not remember somebody fought him that way. I just say he will be able to hurt Ruiz...no matter how he tries to avoid the action. He had really stiff powerfull straight punches. He knocked people out with his jab. it was more a power shot...like Liston's jab. I just say young Bruno had everything in his pocket to catch Ruiz. But i also see the risk that Bruno overpaces and gets knocked out in the 10th-11th round completely exhausted.
Bruno`s jab was nothing like Liston`s and Sonny was a more skilled boxer too, their jabs simply had the same mega reach at 84 inches, when the hell ddid Bruno ever knock a fighter out with a jab?
This content is protected watch it slow motion 0:01-0:04! btw: I said: "it was more a power shot...like Liston's jab". I don't say he has the same skillset and qualities like Liston. And i also don't said his jab is as good as Listons.
Bruno is the better boxer and would also be stronger in the clinch, Ruiz likes to do his work then clinch to stop you from getting your work done, but the problem is Ruiz would't be able to get any work done himself as Bruno would be outjabbing him and just outboxing him all round
I'd want Bruno to win, but if Ruiz can survive a few rounds, I can see him maul and clinch his way to a decision victory like against Hasim Rahman.
