So many on here are dismissive of Pacs injury to Floyd, he knew he was injured and was prevented anti-inflammatory and fought anyways.

Meanwhile, in the same breath, say it’s a legitimate reason to pull out of a fight due to injury as you can’t fight with an injury.

Stop lowballing Spences injury by calling it a "scratched retina". It's a torn retina and it's levels potentially more dangerous than than most injured shoulder if not taken care of immediately. Yes it's a perfectly legitimate reason to pull out, just like a shoulder injury.

I haven’t had an injured shoulder but I’ve had tennis elbow and I’ve been dehydrated and had to fight 3 times for a tournament over a weekend. I had to go down an extra weight class to avoid fighting my friend in the same tournament. I can tell you without doubt, injured shouldnt is far more compromising.
