So PBC can't provide Canelo a late replacement if Plant is injured, but Pac gets one, no problem?

Yes, levels. Like Errol Spence is levels better than Caleb Plant. Yet PBC found a replacement for Spence immediately so Pac could preserve his PPV payday on the same date.

Canelo wanted a guarantee from PBC they'd replace Plant if he was injured in training, and yet they and many of you here said that was OUTRAGEOUS I tell you. What a prima donna. Unbelievable.

Clearly, not a deal-breaker type of request. Clearly, it doesn't take a lot of phone calls to find a fighter willing to take on a huge star for a massive payday on short notice.

I am worked up because I'm a boxing fan. Who likes to WATCH boxing, not just talk about it.

Who has seen many top fights cancelled over the last two years ... due to COVID.

So when fights now get called off by a company for a NONSENSICAL reason like Canelo's was ... and dumb "fans" applaud when fights get called off because their sole fun in life is just insulting certain boxers and hoping fights DON'T HAPPEN ... it pisses me off.

Especially when, two weeks later, the company that couldn't possibly accommodate Canelo's late sub request so the card would go on had no problem accommodating Pacquiao's late sub request so his card could go on.

Clearly, it wasn't a big deal to find a replacement.

Unlike the growing number here who apparently just want to turn this site into a FANTASY FIGHT board, I like to watch ACTUAL fights.

Not just talk about why THEY SHOULDN'T take place.

Not insist late subs shouldn't be added so fights can GO ON.

Not insist there isn't ENOUGH CAMP time.

Sign the fights. Fight the fights. Enough of the cancellations. A guy can't go, fill his spot and keep going.

That's why I'm worked up. Got it now?

 

You're just another guy who actually said fighters shouldn't accept a $10 million payday and a fight against the biggest name in the sport right now, because a possible loss would "somehow" hurt their career.

They should just make a special section on this board for "fans" like you who just like to spend all their time talking about why fights SHOULDN'T take place.

And you can spend days explaining why Vitali never should've fought Lennox Lewis on short notice and how losing to Lewis HURT Vitali's Hall of Fame career.

And how Jermell Charlo losing to Tony Harrison and only making a couple hundred grand doing so wasn't bad, but Jermall Charlo fighting Canelo for $10 Million and losing would be a career wrecker so he shouldn't do it.

You know, knowledgeable stuff like that.

I prefer to watch boxing.
