    No it’s not.

Either an injury that requires surgery compromises your ability to fight, or it doesn’t. Which one is it?

Ok yeah and canelo is unbeaten against ggg, because all official decisions are completely just and the judges always right.

JMM, one of the best counter punches of recent times, landed a perfect counter punch that flattened Manny, and your acting like the fact that manny was up on the cards at that point means anything? Logic bud, use it.

Also if you were JMM would you go for a fifth fight? Against someone who is dangerous as hell and you feel like you have been on the short end of the stick when it comes to decisions against them? After you have erased any need for judges and produced the only clear cut victory out of any of their four fights?

Pac checked he was healthy on the NSAC form blame him.:deal: If he was injured then he should have pulled out of the fight but he didn't, so yes it's an excuse. He also threw punches with both arms and raised his arms in at the end of the fight. Pac's shoulder didn't lose him that fight with PBF, his inability to be the ring general and to deal with PBF's mastery of dictating distance and controlling range on his ass did and people who knew boxing always knew that was going to be the case anything else was just wishful thinking and hate:deal: Levels!!!

Spence was in a near fatal car wreck and received facial fractures it's easy to see how you could damage your eye while continuing to box after the accident. He went to the doctor in a pre-fight exam and the damage was found and he pulled out with an injury with the doctor's advice to do so. A torn retina is a much more serious injury than a shoulder you can't be serious here??? Nice troll thread.

If you're just criticizing people that are underestimating Pacquiaos injury that i guess it does, But the way you worded your post seems like your not realizing that Spences eye injury is a lot worse than Pacquiaos shoulder injury although like i said, both are legit reasons to pull out of a fight

Listen if it makes you happy, Floyd's win over Manny was in a stinker of a fight and the biggest letdown for a fight named " Fight of the century" .

Complaining for shoulder injury has always been scoffed by the public be it legit or an excuse, despite being a very legit concern, Vitali Klitschko was called mentally weak for quitting in the Byrd fight to save his shoulder and he proved later that his heart was never to be brought in question in the Lewis fight .

Retina detachment is much more serious and can make someone potentially blind .

How do you guys come up with this stuff? Spence has a tear, not a scratch and his doctor says that he needs surgery on the eye ASAP. That is an injury that is nothing to play with. I feel sorry for some of the posters on here.

The Garcia fight probably made it worse, he's arguably the biggest puncher at 147. He started his camp for the Pac fight started sparring and it happened.

A torn retina is pretty obvious. I doubt it happened before fighting Swift, it would have been caught during an examination.

Depends on what the "shoulder injury" is. I had a torn rotator cuff. Couldn't lift my elbow to parallel with the shoulder. At all. Manny obviously didn't have that. That said, I would worry more about the retina than the rotator cuff. Gristle. It's gonna' heal at some point and I'm gonna' get some motion back. Retina? Yeah. Who wants to be blind in one eye?

The offense you seek is not here. Keep looking. Or better, let it go. Manny doesn't need to be a victim.

Fact is Spences injury is still levels worse and calling it "scratched" doesn't do it justice. Pacquiao could have pulled out and it would have been perfectly understandable but he didn't now did he ? The comparison hardly makes sense. He is a warrior for fighting with an injury like that though.

Pac's bum shoulder means everything from punching to defending to moving was compromised. That's very dangerous in a sport where the other guy is trying to and can kill you.
