Mike was really strong, but George was easily his equal physically, and a far stronger puncher overall. He'd simply maneuver Mike into punches...the right uppercut and jab would spell his doom.

That said, I can definitely see Mike scoring a flash knockdown before the end of the first round. It's just that George is known for going down and roaring back to win....Mike isn't.

Foreman won't maneuver ****. Tyson is no Frazier, he's far superior.

Ah. Glad you backed up that assertion with an explanation.

Tyson couldnt tie Fraziers shoe laces. Most overrated HWC in history.

Oh, yes.. Has anybody watched Tyson-Tucker (one or one half year before the Spinks fight) lately?

Foreman blasts Tyson to the moon.

The reverse of your title is more likely.

    Bull****.

Tyson got walked around with ease by Holyfield and was backing up in every clinch. Holyfield admitted he couldn’t even move old Foreman and said he was clearly the strongest man he fought (including Lewis, Bowe, Rahman etc). Young George was likely even stronger and would manoeuvre Tyson right where he wanted him with ease. Easy work.

This is peak vs peak buddy, not the faded Tyson that faced Holyfield. And I wasn't talking about Tyson pushing/wrestling with George, but about the fact that he's too elusive and fast, so Foreman won't be able to push him.
And 90s Foreman was way stronger than 70s Foreman due to the extra weight.

How elusive can a shorter, aggressive, come forward fighter be? Tyson was always hittable and he’d be operating in the zone when George most certainly could shove, grab, wrestle and control the smaller weaker guy. Yeah he’d make Foreman miss then get shoved back before he could do squat and George would reset, all the while sticking his phone pole jab in Tysons face interspersed with some monster uppercuts and right hands as Tyson inevitably gets broken down.

This revisionist view of Tyson is ludicrous. He was an excellent fighter for a brief period, beating some reasonable opposition but I’ve never seen a guy who was brutally beaten up and ktfo by a mid level guy like Douglas at 23 mythologised and excused so much. He wasn’t an unbeatable force of nature and never was. His actual career proves this. Very good fighter, not perfect and lesser than the true greats of the division. Next!

George would push mike but wouldnt matter mike never got beat by punchers they had to outbox him never was George's style

but George was way stronger in his young days but he was way weaker to taking damage and he had no defense

why is this a topic still
logic legend posters for years like San and ovah have said mike was way to fast and great at defense it's TRUE

only trolls or crazy people say George could win its obvious he wouldnt he was to slow and easy to hit and he didnt have the right style he would need to be a boxer like holy and buster
