The Porter fight was so long ago. I rewatched it last night. He schooled Porter and wasn't credited with a CLEAR KD.

Three things come to mind:

He's technical AF (Pac has trouble here).

He's huge (looks bigger than Spence on fight night – don't think it will make a difference here because Pac's been fighting bigger guys for the last 15 years).

He isn't a powerful puncher, but he does sit down on most of the punches he throws. If Pac looks 42, he could get stopped.

Overall, this will be a slightly less tough fight than Spence. But still difficult. And he beat Porter clearer than Brook.

 

Before the fight he said no injuries and claimed to be in the best shape of his life. Freddie the joke coach Roach the Cockroach was predicting a knockout victory.

 

The greatest difficulty for Pacquiao and Ugas is the late switch in opponents as they have been preparing for something else. No doubt both in shape. Doubt they can get in proper sparring as the fight is 8/9 days away so all they can do is work on tactical adjustments.
