Cotto pre margachito wraps was pretty good. Mayweather thought so.

Yh ikr. How do you think he'd do against Chavez, Pryor & Duran?

I think he beats Pryor cleanly.
Whitaker outboxed Chavez easily. Mayweather is bigger, faster and longer. IMO he too would decision him.

Duran at 135 is interesting. I think Duran would beat PBF at LW but will lose to Money.

Oscar should've been given the nod for Mosley 2 and Trinidad and hold the L in the record for Sturm.

The losses to Pacman and Mayweather were beyond his prime and Hopkins was too big for him, his record ain't that bad for someone who fought everybody possible.

Nobody, Floyd would simply adjust to their adjustments, Floyd has shown that he can adjust to any different look that anyone in the ring shows him :deal:

Yeah if he was smarter or had a smarter trainer to show him what to do as well as having better conditioning to keep the pace up for the whole 12 rounds maybe he could win but that's a lot off ifs and Mayweather might simply adapt to whatever else Maidana would bring.

One thing I think he and many Mayweather opponents should of done once he got in close with any regularity is throw the right hand to the body. Mayweather usually usually positions his elbow with the low left to block that but when he needed to create space and push guys off he used the elbow/forearm to lever them off and create distance but if you start coming in with the right the body it forces him to either take a right to the body or drop his lead arm giving an opponent the chance to in close before he can raise that elbow/forearm back up and then of course you come over the top with the right hand.

Floyd beat them all, all day long. Too many jealous haters. Dont forget that Floyd beat Canelo and Pac almost every round.

i agree with all of this.
but oscar also fought floyd at a weight where he lost the most mobility, and he still couldn't beat him.

Mayweather often didn't gain much weight and reportedly came in at only 150 lbs on fight night so there's that.

Personally I believe ever since De La Hoya started changing trainers, things started going downhill for him and getting Floyd Sr to coach him was one of the worst decisions ever, his defense suffered a lot fighting with the Philly shell.

A younger Cotto? He passed when he was younger. Wasn't ready he said. I don't think any version of Cotto beats Mayweather.

Mayweather refused to be weight on fight night so we really don't know.
Your maths is pretty terrible then.
