    Reading some of the posts on the prior page as well as some of my own past gripes with the league, I really think picks being anonymous would make the league more honest all around and less stressful for some.

    But then what happens to the gamesmanship? This unheralded euro level matchup got very tense, when really all anyone had to do was pick the opposite of me because this is the second time Gago has burned me.

    As a newbie I just pick who I think is going to get the win, sometimes well in advance. I don’t even care what others are picking, as I want to rely purely on my judgment.

    I see a lot of experienced players though are looking at what each other pick and basing their picks tactically off of that.

    I think anonymous picks would fix the issue of others looking at what each other are doing but then the competition wouldn’t be as interesting as you wouldn’t know what each other have picked.

    Also how would you verify it’s a fair competition unless everyone’s picks are visible to everyone, much like a blockchain of transactions is important in verifying that a cryptocurrency is legit?
