To be fair to Casimero, how is he supposed to find and pay sparring partners that would emulate that little action as Rigondeaux does. I kinda agree on the following him around the ring but again, even if he was cutting him off, all Rigo did was duck and go in the other direction. Casimero would ahve had better success if he was just trying to stand on Rigo's lead foot.
Retire or get back with Pedro Diaz. Gunshy Rigo is awful. In shape to move for 12 rounds but refuse to counter or let his hands go. WTF is that? Everytime Rigo would slip or duck out Casimero would turn around with his hands down but Rigo refused to punish him.
Well I lost a couple hundred on Rigondeaux. I thought him being a 2-1 underdog was way off. I guess I was right but I forgot Rigondeaux is, well Rigondeaux. Rigo did himself no favors with that performance although I do still think he won the fight close. I am going to chase my loss with Usyk next month, will probably double down on it. I wonder how that is going to turn out?
Your boy could not catch a 40 year old man because he is clueless on how to cut the ring off. And got hit with some slow-ass counters. I would keep him away from Inoue, Casimero is likely to get seriously hurt.
You can't and shouldn't get the nod for fighting like Rigo did. I hope he never gets a top level fight again.
That's why I find defensive masters who box on the front foot like Loma so much more impressive than back foot ones. It's akin to someone skirting around the edge of a minefield to avoid getting a limb blown off and someone moving to and fro on the mine field and not getting blown up.
Casimero wants to be careful what he does with that finger of his because Inoue will snap it off and shove it up his ass. Remember what happened the last time when one of his opponents disrespected him?
I've never seen a puncher like Casimero so worried about being countered that he stops throwing punches. I didn't expect much from Rigo at his age, but the young lion didn't do anything neither.
