Or should it be billed Vergil Ortiz vs Keith Thurman? Who do you think would win this fight? The former unified champ, veteran who hasn't fought in over two years or the young up and coming contender coming off an impressive win over a tough veteran gatekeeper?
Ortiz imo , he looks like a 160 lber on fight night , he isn't as refined but his power and physicality will win him the fight, Thurman is gonna get affected a lot by the first body shot that hits him and his no clinch code seems idiotic at best.
50/50 matchup with the Thurman that fought Porter and Garcia. At this point though Thurman probably doesn't have his heart in the sport and wouldn't be fighting with the same fire.
ortiz. would be a good fight. kids coming into his own right now, learning by leaps and bounds. its his realistic assessments of himself and the drive to get better. i only see spence beating him, if spence comes back at 100. crawford would be his masters degree, and he would have to be better than what hes shown so far to beat him. but i think hes got it in him, i think he stops bud in a war.
That isn't happening, Crawford isn't stupid by any means to play into Ortiz's game like that , there are levels to the fight game and Ortiz seems on a higher level than he is thanks to his power , he's got a lot to develop in the ring iq department to beat Crawford.
it would be a bigger, stronger, more relentless, benavidez. with not only 2 good legs, but legs as good as buds himself.
