Inside the ring? Oh yeah, IMO Ali during the Thrilla in manilla, before the fight when the announcer was presenting the 2 fighters. Just before announcing Muhammad's name, the crowd started booing loudly. Ali looked at them, completely shocked and acted like he was crying. Larry Holmes, when Mercer got him on the ropes and started hitting him, he barely blinked, looked at the crowd and said "I'M NOT TOMMY MORRITHON!!!". Oh and also during his fight against holyfield: michael buffer: for seven and a half years , he ruled the division making 15 defenses of the title tonight he returns to.... Larry holmes: twenty (defenses of the title.) buffer: Caesars Palace.... holmes: twenty! buffer: where he won it all in 1978... holmes: TWENTY!!!!!!!
I don't find it at all funny. He wasn't helping his fighter at all. That's his job. Sad. He was playing to the camera. The camera and microphone should stay out of the corners altogether.

Haha. Same here. Also: Muhammad Ali fought Superman in a special edition comic back in the day. Daredevil’s father was a boxer who refused to throw a fight and was murdered by the mob for it, which plays into Daredevil’s origin. I’m sure there are other boxing/comic book connections, but Joe Palooka is the ATG in this realm.
Anthony Hembrick v Booker T. Word This one always gets me. I do remember more to it though. I believe Hembrick and his corner were practically break-dancing all the way to the ring as well. Lol many yeas ago at a Heavyweight Explosion Card in Ft Worth Texas Buffer welcomed the TV crowd to "A night of world class professional Wrestling" Then later he introduced Paulie Ayala as NABF HEAVYWEIGHT champ LOL He'd got an excuse though, the blonde bombshell he was sitting with would have affected me too LOL.
