You know I was impressed by the way Ortiz used his jab after getting nailed and I've said I think this fight will really improve him. He appears to be the next big think at 147.Only thing I see is he doesn't have an advantage against Crawford is experience and ring savvy. And with his experience that could be enough.

What am I saying! , top fighters don't fight each other , this is 2021

Whether he becomes the man at the weight or even bags a title I'm not totally sure.
But I will continue to follow him regardless. He is one of my favs going around at the moment.

what ortz lacks in experience he makes up for in ability to follow instructions from his corner, and he has one of the best trainers in boxing behind him.

I think that it would be a really good fight right now and I would go 70/30 for Crawford. Here's why, Ortiz is an excellent fighter but he is not natural and he don't think outside the box. On the other hand, Crawford can and will come at you in several different ways. He has a larger arsenal of offensive weapons and that uppercut could probably be what ends the fight. Then, Ortiz's body shots might bring him a victory. They both get hit but Ortiz gets hit a little more than Crawford and I think that Crawford will adjust better than Ortiz. Crawford has a two inch reach advatage and has power in both hands. However, his most important attribute and the one that gives him IMO the 70/30 edge is his boxing IQ. He will outthink Ortiz.

Absolutely would. Ortiz is all bad for crawford.
Ortiz is a better version of Benavides with footwork.
Who has Crawford beat that is better than Ortiz at 147? I’ll wait….
Perception in boxing is what casuals go by.

No problem with a 0 with me either. It would be a good bout, I'm sure, win or lose, to see these two guys in the ring.

Terence has more speed of hand and foot, better timing, and the ability to do more coming forward or backing up. Ortiz wants nothing to do with crawford right now. Better ko thurman or danny g first.

I've never been impressed with TC, been calling him overrated since he beat gamboa. He walks around at like 185 pounds at 5'9 and cuts down to these tiny weight classes, still doesn't have a signature win. Egis is his best win, and he proved he has a good jaw and can make adjustments, but the p4p talk is insane.
