No it's not silly at all. Tyson was stronger, faster, had better offense and defense, and, unlike Frazier, hit hard with both hands.
Frazier only has better stamina, so how is Tyson not superior ?!?

 

Even if it's true, he never proved it in real life. Ali beat much, much better fighters than Tyson. In fact, Tyson never beat anyone even close to these three (except retired Holmes, who doesn't count).

 

Tyson and Frazier are not even similar at all. Frazier mostly fought on the inside, while it was Tyson's weakness. Tyson used different strategies on defense as well. No, Mike wasn't superior version of Joe. He doesn't have better resume either.

Lennox Lewis, I don`t feel Lewis`s opposition was as good as people make out on this forum and he looked very vulnerable in several fights. Roy Jones, I think Jones was pure speed and nowhere near Ray Robinson`s level, he benefitted from being a lot bigger than most of his opponents, Spence, just a weight bully with decent skills.

 

He won a world title at 160 and then kept moving up. Jones "being a lot bigger than most of his opponents" would be rather hard to substantiate. He wasn't exactly a weight bully sitting in one division feasting on those who rose.

 

Jones was boxing since he was a kid. His style reflected how sure he was of his abilities. If he were speed without substance, he would’ve had a career like Jermain Taylor.
