One of those bums with a major world title is a disaster scenerio for HW. So no, let's not pray that.

    Depends...

Whyte at least would take some decent fights with the belt, and he's been desperate to fight AJ again for years so undisputed is a possibility - if nothing else, he'd take better fights than Wilder and if that leads to him losing the belt again that's not necessarily a bad thing either.

Wilder getting it back would put undisputed off the table until he retires, he'd just go back to what he's always done and knock out a procession of journeymen and the odd gatekeeper level fighter... That would be terrible for the division.

Having said all that... It won't happen.

Wilder won't fight Whyte, he's not going to duck him for years and then suddenly step up when he's at his most vulnerable mentally.

Besides, if Fury winds up vacating the WBC has proven quite happy to protect Wilder in the past, why wouldn't they gift it back to him with an easy fight and then doctor his mando again?

Frankly, I think Wilder's more likely to look at Stiverne 3 or Ortiz 3 than dare take on Whyte.

HW division had been turned even into far worse than in Klits era assumed by posters as weak era, damn ****.

Boxers fight at best miracle cases 2 X during 1 year, this already was little miracle long before Covid era.
A lot of top boxers had 1 fight during 9-10 months. A lot of them 1 fight during year.
Some boxers 1 fight during 18-24 months and this was long ago before:D covid.

HW divison in top 50 for sure is very stagnant and slow moving damn long ago before covid.

I don't think that boxer should fight 4 times per year if he is high level. It is nonsense.

While if the boxer gets older each day, having sometimes 1 fight during 12 months and even this is good, then_______.

I don't care so much about from where are these boxers.
Division is very inactive and this curse was damn long before covid.
Covid just one from modern excuses.
Division is stagnant and too inactive. Low number of fights at top 50 even long before covid.
They just need to be more active cos otherwise the are going older and older while are talking.
Combat sports are young mans game. Clock is ticking.

Fury feinted Wilder out of position, Whyte doesn`t do that, but still an interesting fight, Whyte looked better than Wilder did when he beat Povetkin.

You pity me for not wanting to see Fury v Wilder for a 3rd time rather than a fresh new fight between Wilder and Whyte that will be extremely interesting, on and off the ring?

    lol

Fury is going to use his daughters health to duck the fight. Just watch. And the WBC won't give the fight to Whyte or Wilder, they will make up some new rules to wait on Fury or something. Fury hasn't even started camp and he was fat right before the last camp started. 0 title defenses and no fights in the last 2 years. Fraudulent champion

If Fury doesn't fight he needs to be stripped and a fight between Wilder and Whyte would be for the vacant title. Honestly I'd probably rather see that , Wilder should KO Whyte but if Whyte won he's willing to fight good fighters

I don't like fury and whether or not he was up for the fight, having a sick child is a totally valid excuse not to do anything.

If the choice was stay with my sick child or anything else, anything else can go **** itself.

Yet another reason why I hope the fight comes off. He won't fight if his newborn daughter is in dire shape. Nor should he. If he does fight, it's a sign she's doing fine.

But by every report, she is doing much better and has received excellent care. If I'm not mistaken, when Tyson was born, it was also nip and tuck with him for a while. And he is a real survivor.

All the best to Tyson Fury and his wife and their children.

Yes, and although the fight would be entertaining, no one is going to give a **** about recognising them as champ because as far as everyone else is concerned AJ/Fury are the top 2 anyway.

Yes I pity the fact that you'd rather watch a bum get a chance than watch the best in the world do what he does best against a former champion and top contender. Watching 2 homeless crack heads fight can be "interesting". I'd rather see supreme skills put on display.
