    That's news to me.

The guy was the World Champion and had been unbeaten for 10 solid years and 18 straight heavyweight title defenses.

If Wilder knocked off Wlad in 2015, it would've been a solid ATG win. If Joshua knocked off Wlad in 2015, it would've been a solid ATG win. If Luis Ortiz knocked off Wlad in 2015, it would've been a solid ATG win. If Kubrat Pulev or Alexander Povetkin had knocked off Wlad in a rematch in 2015, it would've been a solid ATG win. If Bryant Jennings had knocked off Wlad in 2015, it would've been a solid ATG win.

The "upset" win made Fury the World Champion.

How on earth was it not an ATG win?

"If's" are a meaning attempt to make an argument. Simply because they doesn't exist. Hence the "if..."

So Vitali landed more punches (132 to 124), landed more power punches (115 to 82), and was ahead on the cards after nine rounds (88-83, 88-82 and 89-82).

But he was outboxed, in your opinion?

Remind me never to ask for your opinion. ;)

fight wasn’t over. Byrd had taken over. Vitali hit fresh air all night

that caused the injury. Byrds defence. It’s not all about toothless aggression

The stats of Vitali Byrd show Vit was ahead 5 rounds on two cards on 7 on another. Credit to Byrd for making it tough of course and he was a late replacement for Ruddock. Vitali had been preparing for a big power hitter and got a slick small southie instead. That's a big adjustment on a week's notice.
