It's boxing. Heavyweights are giants. They can all KO each other with a punch.

Nascimiento got KTFO 13 times. Malignaggi got enough power to put him to sleep.

235 lbs Marcelo has been stopped a lot but mostly much later in his career and he has faced loads of well known names. Fury got him in the 5th before he had been KO'd, undefeated and on a long win streak when his chin was at its absolute best. Big Marcelo also went the distance with some decent fighters after Fury as well, including Eddie Chambers, Kuzmin, Chisora, Duhaupas and Wach. And how many of the fighters who stopped Luiz did so by knocking him unconscious? None to my knowledge.

He's not really that type of fighter but I'm sure if he threw caution to the wind and launched himself into a punch he'd be able to knock people out with one punch. He's 6'9 and 270 odd lbs.

Technically true but Fury couldn't even get a straight KO on Wilder even after he was wobbly for 4 straight rounds in the last fight.

One punch KO power needs to be demonstrated in the ring to be claimed to be had.

The most sensible post on Fury that you've ever made. I'm impressed and proud of you.
You're maturing as a poster and as a man. I salute you.

Yes, by mass alone. He's just more of a boxer so he doesn't load up that much.

If Sugar Hill Steward got Fury to have one punch knockout power then he would be in contention for best trainer ever

The thread is about one punch ko power. Fury hit him at least 25 times before the fatal blow, which case defines the ABSENCE of one punch ko power.

If you're not allowed to hit your opponent before the one big shot then no top 10 ranked heavyweight has one-punch power at a decent level save Wilder.

Maybe against somebody with a glass chin.

Fury has always been about catching guys with punches coming in, pot shotting and wearing guys down. He's clearly hitting harder now than before, though, but I still wouldn't call him a one punch guy. He's got a ways to go before he becomes Saitama.

Nas is just not durable ( actually certified glass jaw )and every decent boxer will look like a puncher against him, see Kirkland vs Ishida. Fury was the first to KO him, because he was first good fighter that Nas faced, before he was fighting brazilian bums. Fury is not a 1 punch artist, he isnt even a big puncher. He is one of my fav fighters, although i dont like HW, i am just being honest.

Sugar Hill said that Fury's punching technique was flawed and that is what they've been working on. It will be interesting to see if he does have more power from here on. He's going to need it if he carries on fighting as his speed is bound to deteriorate and he'll need other ways to win.
