What was the best performance of his career where he best displayed his skills? Not necessarily his best win.

Hearns 1- He showed what he was made of dug deep and to quote Tyson he proved he really was a "Pitbull with a pretty face"

This one is NEVER mentioned, but probably the Bruce Finch fight.

He was coming off the Hearns win, and was at the peak of his confidence, his skill, and his physical ability.

Hearns 1 but also Benitez deserves a mention. That was an impressive win.

Leonard would not stop Floyd in 5, though he would beat Floyd in dominant fashion.

Aaron Pryor though talented, was too light, he weighed 140 lbs, Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas The Hitman Hearns were 147 Lbs.

Per the actual ask "where he best displayed his skills" i'm going to put forward Benitez. It's shocking how comfortably he outboxed a speedy master boxer that night and he showed an immense all round game. Brilliant performance.

No fan of Leonard; but his win over Kalule was maybe a masterpiece.

And as I suspect you know, was probably even better as a 135lber, only moving up to get a title fight.

I'll go with this. But also, Tommy took it like a champ!
