What if Tyson Fury retires after beating Wilder

Classified as a very good HW. Maybe top 20 material.

 

Very weak resume. Skills are good. His size and agility makes him unique and sets him apart. Although I think he could beat all ATG's in history. The resume doesn't justify or support that status.

 

I'd rate him below vitali since they both seem great h2h but neither would have beaten many great fighters

 

Definitely higher place than bodybuilding merchant Joshua.

 

Won't have done enough. Good heavy but not lower end of the top 20 at the highest.

 

Borderline top 20.

 

The only way Fury would gets in to the Hall Of Fame with that resume is if he breaks in burgles it.....or buy a ticket.

Casuals & Tyson’s ‘new fans’ rave about his draw (he won) & destruction of Wilder & the borefest v Klitschko. These are his only stand out performances. Nobody outside of Alabama rates Wilder & Klitschko was fading.
He needs 3 big wins against top performers to raise his profile in my opinion. However, this won’t be easy in a poor, stagnating HW division.

 

I think if he retires it's highly likely he will linger in the background, teasing a comeback or making statements along the lines of ... he could beat the current champ(s) if he really wanted to.

I hope he goes on to at least fight Joshua, at least once ... otherwise he's going to have a Riddick Bowe type legacy.

 

Wilder would probably be his 2nd best win, so not all that tbh.

 

I think he will retire BEFORE the trilogy fight. Citing family issues. That's just the type of con man and fraud this dude is. And as far as his legacy? 0 title defenses and only 2 good names on his resume. That and a steroid conviction sum it all up for me. He is an impostor at best

 

and you are a stupid at best. Fury has the second best resume among HWs.
