Yes, he is. He beat 2x Chisora, Klitschko and Wilder. This is the best resume after Joshua. And he gonna beat Wilder second time in October.

Nobody rates Wilder. He probably has no fans outside of Alabama.
He cherry picked his way up & continued to do so when he reached the summit.
He would struggle to make the top 100 Heavyweights in recent memory. A poor boxer, weak champion, with abysmal excuses............not much too crow about in beating him really.
Fury is good, has a poor resume & has fought 7 times in nearly 7 years.
He’s probably the best of a bad bunch in a division that has stagnated & has more threads than any other. Yawn

 

400 years old ATG, and i'm not sure if he was a top 10 elite heavyweight.
Virtually every expert has him Wlad outside of the top 10, Bill Caplan, The Ring, Boxing Insider, Boxing Action, Fight City, Give Me Sport and Boxing Online. All of them had Wlad somewhere in the top 15 or top 20.
A HOF for sure but not an elite one.
Deontay Wilder is anything but the best fighter in Fury's era, he stands alone as the worst champion in the history of boxing, adding the fact 90% of his title defense were made against unranked fighter. He also can't box.

 

Then Fury be known for beating one great fighter in Wlad and having waifer thin resume, after thatthe next best opponent he being between Chisora and Wilder.

AJ would known as the better fighter of this generation with superior resume (plus attempted to make the Fury on 3 occasions which Fury team declined). That did Usyk may take the fighter of generation title away from AJ if he beats him, I can't see anyone in divison beating Usyk if AJ can't.
