Jesus.... ADDRESS what I asked first. All you ever do is 'whataboutism'. That's not even an argument or a retort. Just how freakin dumb are you??? I didn't jump down your throat drama queen. I asked how beating a guy in Broner, who did nothing at 147, made a guy worthy.

All you can say is, "Broner was a star" and you too obtuse (go look it up inbred county mouse) to see that's not even a good answer.

That is not even close to the same as w/ Maidana and Broner.

I don't worship fighters. Of course Pac has had some weak ops. At least I can admit it. You Floyd fanatics are too scared to say anything remotely bad about floyd.

I didnt call him a ducker. I said Horn was a cherry pick gone wrong and he didn't deserve his fight with Pac.

What was Horn's WBO ranking when he faced Pac Pimp? Can you answer that?

Whoever said Horn was an ATG? But it wasn’t cherry picking. It was basically the only option left on Arums stable.

Arum didn’t want to risk Crawford to Pac. Pac was still very dangerous then and risking his next cash cow to a cash cow about to leave him is dumb move.

Proof of that is the fact that Arum tried to make the fight with a 42yr old Pac yet his excuse for not making the Crawford fight with a 37yr old Pac is that Crawford would hurt him. 0 logic in that obvious lie.

Cherry picking is what Floyd did with Maidana. He had a better option but Floyd chose the apparently easier but less payday option.

You're the idiot who doesn't seem to think how beating a big draw and star can earn you a payday with a superstar. You act as if that doesn't happen in boxing. Yet you're the one calling me dumb. LMFAO!

OK, but when Freddie is doing his usual 'Pac KOs this guy' prediction, which virtually never happens, people latch onto it. Consistency is needed.

The evidence suggests the fight would have happened far sooner if Pacquiao left Arum. Cotto got his shot, at 154 no less. He did have JMM problems, but that's part of the back and forth rhetoric, not a fight stopper.

It's pointless bringing up Tank. Building fighters up to be 'names' first, to maximise their earnings is a part of modern boxing. As fans, we don't agree with it but this is prizefighting. Fans tend to switch off on prospects once they rack up a few losses, so they need to be navigated through to the bigger paydays. If we can drop our differences for a second, it's why guys like Pacquiao and Mayweather should be rated higher than they are now by some of the 'nobody fights anybody anymore crowd', they earned their reputation as stars the hard way, but generally speaking this isn't the way that careers are handled these days. It's also why the much admired Golovkin spends the lucrative twilight of his career fighting lesser fighters in the hope that Canelo will throw him a bone and a retirement payday.

Pac beat up Thurman at 40. At 42, Pac was chased Crawford, settled on Spence, and took Ugas on 11 days notice.

To say he duck Floyd is insane.

Freddie's a great trainer, but he's also incredibly annoying and self-serving. As is Justin Fortune. Can't stand either man.

I'm a fan of boxing, first and foremost. I'm not a 'Floyd fanatic'. I'm not even American. I just recognise greatness when I see it - I also recognise it in Pacquiao, but I think he gets overrated to the point where it's impossible to keep quiet about it.

Khan wasn't the better option at that time Maidana was coming off a big win, what was Khan coming off of and he had no belts unlike Maidana? A lackluster performance in which he went life and death with a C level fighter in Diaz?? No one wanted to see PBF outbox a front running glass jawed joke like Khan people wanted to see Maidana who just came off the upset of the year and looked great while doing so. That was no cherry pick. Horn a school teacher was a cherry pick that no one gave a damn about outside of Australia and what's funny about it Pac took that L and still needs to avenge it. As far as Crawford, Roach said he wanted to steer Pac away from him because he knew Crawford was too good and dangerous for Pac back then.

I didn't say he ducked Floyd. Not even close.

I think both fighters themselves really wanted the fight and both believed they could win. It was Arum who held up the fight. You do know why Arum hated Mayweather, right?

Btw, stop with this longevity stuff. Vince Carter played until 43 and Larry Bird retired at 36.

Oh, that's fair. However, this about about Broner being the qualifying event to a shot a floyd based on popularity. At least admit that's a silly form of criteria to try and use.

You're looking at this through the lens of 2021 rather than Broner's status as Mayweather's successor.

What was his ranking when he fought Pac?

You have no clue, as is expected with you, who just repeats things he hears. You don't know how to think for yourself. You're a weak minded, barely educated rube who allows fans to dictate who you root for. Scared to say ANYTHING negative about Floyd. You're a gutless turd.
