Some guys just can't win. I imagine that AJ could care less to be honest. I doubt he's kicking it in one of his mansions, super model "friend" laying across his lap, worrying if fans think he's a hype job or a bum. LOL

Hearn has been swerving Usyk since he beat Bellew and Usyk has been aged out and picked up more wear and tear but judging from his last performance, he is still a world-class fighter and will be well-prepared against Joshua. If AJ beats him clearly and legitimately it's the best win of AJ's career. It's not even that AJ's resume is bad but he's been carefully managed by Hearn despite protests to the contrary. Pulev was 39.5 years old, Takam 37 at 10 days notice and all of those fights (barring Ruiz) were at home with A-side privileges. Klitschko was 41, defeated in his last fight and 17 months inactive, Povetkin was 39, Whyte was dangerous but green and British level, Ruiz's best win prior to AJ was a competitive decision against an old Kevin Johnson and post-AJ is a war with 40 year old Arreola and he was even more obese and less trained in the AJ rematch, Parker was recently clearly beaten by an old, worn Chisora. Despite all of these qualifiers and the struggles he had, AJ clearly has the 2nd best HW resume.

I have my doubts. Usyk was great at CW. His HW cv is still nothing many other CW's haven't done prior. I reckon the narrative would shift to Usyk's HW run being less than stellar, and those who hate AJ will continue.

Anybody that has the guts to step in that ring gets my respect, regardless of what i think of them as a fighter.

From me Joshua will get credit and respect for beating Usyk as IMO it's his hardest fight since Wlad.

From others he probably won't get it.

It's really a bum deal of a fight for Joshua - he get's no real kudos if he wins - because (barring a few folks that think Usyk is a bad style match up) he is expected to win easily.

If he loses - and less face it, it would have to be a KO / TKO or complete clowning shutout, as Usyk is not getting a decision - it will be as bad if not worse than Ruiz for him.

    Nowhere near Fury's level.

Stiff robot lost all credibility when he got stopped.

All this talk about losing respect etc etc

It is the fight game, and as Mike Tyson once said, greater fighters than i have lost.

It is all nonsense, respect all fighters as "Fighters" i say whether they win lose or draw.

Fury has 3 better wins than Joshua, and Joshua was beat up and stopped, so he will remain under criticism until that changes or he is not talked about as being the #1 HW.

3 better wins ? Ridiculous. The only win person on Fury's resume that is better than all of Joshua's top wins is Klitschko

    Povetkin > Wilder
    Pulev > Chisora
    Whyte >= Chisora
And if Aj manages to beat Usyk then he'll also be better than Fury's win over Chisora who is Fury's 3rd beat win LOL

Fury has the best win out of both of them but overall Aj has the deeper better resume and in addition to that Joshua has also beaten Klitschko albiet an older beltless one

Joshua saw in Chisora match that Usyk is nothing in heavyweight. That's why he agreed to fight him.

Joshua will easily KO Usyk. Usyk is lucky if he gets past round 4.

I hope AJ gets all the respect in the world when he beats the cruiserweight

but mark my words, you better give that respect back to Fury 10 fold when he toys with AJ and he will toy with him.

If it's Usyk to win, they won't even respect Ruiz anymore. They would tell him he beat a bum who loses with midget fighters.
