Ceja let up off the pressure, He let the man back into the fight.

All the way to when Ceja's eyes closed I still thought Magsayo was going to get stopped.

Yeah, he has too few tools to beat a talent like Russell. He has a puncher's chance but that's it.

It’s like in fight night champion when you’re whooping someone’s ass and they get a fluke KO with power straight spamming.

Scary KO because his head did the Joey Gamache, back and forth thing on the way down.

    It's a hell of a punch, though.

The first big wide sweeping setup left hook got Ceja backing straight up until his back hit the ropes, nowhere to go, and Magsayo feinted with another wide hook, missing almost on purpose, just to make sure Ceja would focus on leaning into the ropes to get beyond reach of that diversionary punch, and lining him up squarely in the path of that annihilating slingshot right cross. That was just, aside from being a monster shot, a strategically well-earned KO.

And come from behind to boot. Or should have been, anyway, unless he was indeed on his way to getting a gift anyway.

That's the best way to take "robbery" out of the conversation. :)

That had Ceja by second half of the fight stoppage win written all over it when he dropped Magsayo in the 5th. He was breaking him up with a vicious body assault and it looked like Magsayo was going to fold.

great ko. took too much punishment to get it, for my taste. if he keeps developing he should do well, but hes not ready to be the man.
