Step aside all you pretenders, the one and only Ali regaining the title from the monster that was perceived to be George Foreman, saw it live at 4oc in the morning at a picture house in Leicester Square, for 3 rounds I thought George was going to seriously hurt the great one, I should have known better, the world should have known better, am getting on a bit now, but that night will live forever. keep well.

That's a lie! You're trying too hard. Cotto's face was a bloody mess after the first fight.

The announcement of the scorecards at the end of Lewis v Holyfield 1. As a kid I still naively believed boxing was a sport where the best man wins. That was quite the wake up call.

Show another picture of Cotto's face after the first. In the ring, Cotto's face was busted up way worse than the 2nd.

Go ahead and show it then. Either way, his face was busted up pretty bad in the second. For someone who was supposedly loading his gloves before, how was Margarito able to cause so much facial damage in the rematch?

He did get suspended for loaded gloves. Don't forget that. Your boy is a plaster cheat.

The 6th and then closing round of DelaHoya vs Quartey... The vibe... The momentum. The Lampley commentary.... It doesnt get more dramatic. I love that fight.

The 1st round and then subsequent rounds of Trinidad vs Vargas. So shocking. Shocking how such even money became an overwhelming domination, aside from Fernando's 4th round knockdown which keeps it interesting.... For Tito to close the show like that is the highest level stuff thats been on camera. What a finisher Tito was.

I remember standing up in a room full of people and procliaming "THIS IS WHY THERE ARE WEIGHT CLASSES"... "YOU ARE ABOUT TO SEE WHY THERE ARE WEIGHT CLASSES"... Live during the playup to Gatti vs Gamache... Gatti weighed in at 140 and came into the ring (unofficially) at 159... Gamache was like 146 fight night... Once I saw them and the weights fight night , I was certain that would happen. Doesn't get more conclusive or real than that.

Buster Douglas' upset of Tyson still is the clear answer for me, 30 years later.

Difficult to say either most important or most memorable, but my favourites are D Price getting stopped by TT in the first fight after getting kd, was amazing to watch that fight with Price being touted as Fury's nemesis. Also the Joshua Whyte first round with the kick-off after the bell and ring invasion. Both were hilarious and epic: "...oh...aaand...White's lost control!"
