Maidana gave pbf a harder fight than pac did let that sink in. The pac fight was one of PBF's easiest fights in years it wasn't close.
I have him top 20 Was having a brain malfunction and putting him ahead of Floyd due to longevity, but I was wrong quality over quantity and losing to the likes of horn is pretty bad Floyd is fringe top 10, maybe a little under, though his talent is top 5, while manny is probably 15 due to weight jumps, longevity, but talent closer to top 50
Doesn't matter. Just that you said you don't know boxing history, just arbitrarily chuck him in the top 50 lol. Do you even know 49 greater boxers than Pac?
Well, you're clearly lacking some reading skills. I didn't say "I don't know boxing history". I said "I'm not super interested in boxing history". I made an ATG list for myself 3 years ago and Pac is ranked #34 on that list. So what?
So has he done anything in the last 3 years toove higher than 34? And who are the 33 you have above him?
No, i don't really think he did anything special to justify that. Broner is a joke. And Thurman is shot after all those injuries. Thurman didn't fight since the Pac fight is another sign of him just going for a payday that night. He had his wife in the locker room right before the fight and was eating Pizza + went on a Poker night in Vegas the day before.
top 5 for modern boxers for me. people can make whatever rationalizations for how he was able to be a top guy at so many weight classes and so late into his career but the fact is that nobody else in the modern era has done it so by definition it's an ATG special feat.
Anyone has a link to any recent atg list? I'm curious where Canelo is currently rank in some people's opinion
I wouldn't argue against anyone who'd put him within top 15-20. Top 10 and below, and likewise top 20 and above, would take A LOT of convincing me.
