    Maybe.

Pac spent 6-7 weeks training for Spence and then 11 days out switched to Ugas. He was training right up until like the day before the weigh in. Could have been overtrained or he couldn't get the muscle memory of training for Spence out. Could explain why his legs were cement and he had no head movement. Ugas style is more suited for a broad range of styles.

Duh. I been said that he shouldn't have taken the fight and that Ugas was gonna be harder than Spence stylistically. Pac was preparing to go to war against a pressuring Spence in the pocket.

So why did you make threads about Bivol getting a 6 week training camp then, dummy? Now you understand that its both fighters who get shafted when things change. I hope pacquaio losing on 11 days notice humbles your ass.

What on Earth are you talking about? I said Bivol shouldn't take a fight at 6 weeks...

Spence is'nt a come foward pressure type specialist, in fact there is'nt much difference in the styles of Spence and Ugas.
Just look at Spence's fight with Mikey Garcia, Spence did'nt put the pressure on Garcia, he bided his time from distance and beat Garcia with a variable of factors which included height, reach, quickness, speed, and strength.
Spence set up and fought Garcia from distance, pretty much how Ugas handled Pacquiao.

You're making zero sense. Ugas was training for a fight. He had a full camp. His style is suitable for a broader range of styles. Less adaptations needed.

How long did Ugas have to prepare?

You make it sound like Ugas had a full camp and Pacquaio was the late opponent.

The fact is, Pacquaio and Roach would have agreed to Ugas, Ugas wasn't forced on them.

So the idea Pacquaio all of a sudden wasn't prepared, wasn't ready, muscle memory problems, training for somebody else.. blah blah blah is utter nonsense.

Pacquaio was the star, he would have been given a small list of fighters who could have possibly stepped in, they chose Ugas and they miscalculated.

Pacquaio isn't a raw kid without decades of experience, without extensive boxing knowledge, Pacquaio should have been able to cope with Ugas' style all things considered.

But it was Pacquaios age that was the problem in my opinion, he has aged, his body isn't the same, his legs haven't got that same spring, he couldn't move in and out like he used to, also he was frantic at times, sometimes wild, but that was with the flurries he was throwing or trying to throw.

On the way out he was just too slow, his legs couldn't do what his mind wanted to do, he got countered, he was getting caught rather easily when Ugas was letting his hands go, Pacquaios face looked puffy and slightly swollen by halfway, so he was getting touched.

Pacquaio is lucky Spence Jr got injured, I'm absolutely convinced Spence Jr would have stopped that version of Pacquaio, I think Pacquaio would have probably been pulled out late after taking a beating.

Actually there are many punches that from Ugas that blocked by Pacquiao but it move Pacquiao.

I do think judges or stat counted it for Ugas which should not be as they are blocked.

The only good thing to come from this thread is to view the list who voted for Pacquiao. They don't know how to score fights and any comments they make should be treated like used toilet paper.

I had Ugas winning by 2 rounds and that was being generous to Pac in close rounds.

Absolute his age was a huge factor. I just didn't think the change in opponent helped him. Which is why he kept working out/training until the weigh in.

I scored it for Ugas, but had it closer than the judges. I had it 115-114 Ugas.
