The problem is you seem to be valuing Ortiz as something more than a gatekeeper...
And there ain't a shred of evidence to back that up.

Ortiz best win is Jennings, he's refused the chances he's had to step up and fight genuine contenders with the exception of Wilder (who beat him twice, and Ortiz being Wilders best win this doesn't necessarily help Ortiz resume unless you're into circular reasoning).

Well he did stop Jennings and Jennings went the distance with Wlad and Joyce and even took like 4 rounds off of Joyce imo so ill give him some decent credit for that. But besides Jennings yeah Ortiz has a journeyman resume

Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Not really much use dwelling on what-ifs. I am looking forward to Usyk vs AJ though. I reckon Usyk causes an upset by KOing AJ.

As for Fury being less active, you've got COVID-19 and Wilder to consider there. He'll dispatch Wilder (hopefully) and move on to deal with AJ win or lose I reckon.

Wlad was way past it at almost 40 years old and Wilder is a bum hardly an ATG resume.

Joshua still has the better resume and has consistently fought top 15 opponents instead of Wallin and Schwartz lol. Beisdes Wilder he has fought nobody since his return to the heavyweight scene. There is no what if on that matter. Even then Wilder is a hypejob with a weak resume. Lets hope Fury fights Aj right after the Wilder fight, because based on this interview i doubt it.

When asked if he plans to fight Joshua provided him and Joshua get past their nexts fights he just ignores the question and sounds like he wants to fight another bum

Bowe also has Hide, Klitschko had shown in the Jennings fight that he was well out of his prime, after Jennings he went on to lose his last two fights and retired father time is undefeated.

nah I would put him behind Joshua, Parker, Whyte and Chisora as far as Resume's ( think about it Chisora has fought everyone from Vitaly, Haye, Fury, Whyte, Usyk, Pulev and Parker... his resume is pretty staggering.

Resume with qualified opponents is meaningless without winning and dominance. Chisora lost to almost all of the fighters you mentioned.

Fury dominated his best opponents. He clearly out-boxed Wlad and Chisora. Also, KOed Wilder. He most probably gonna KO Wilder again.

No way, Chisora fought all these guys but he didn't beat all of them. Fury has a somewhat thin resume but even past Klitschko beats all of those guys.

Depends on how you rate a resume I guess. Just pointing out that Fury's two wins are worth more than Joshua's top two. Fury beat two reigning champions for all of the major belts, and in turn the lineal championship (whether or not you count that is up to you).

A resume is a body of work not if you won or lost.

Wladimir yes, Wilder no. Wilder's best win is Luis Ortiz and he's defended against bums. His resume is garbage for a 5 year reining world champion . Thats why i don't rate the Wilder win so highly

I already have a job and I’m a bit old to change careers to be a pro boxer.

That being said I’d still fancy my chances against most of Wilders opponents.

And what has Ortiz done to be rated any higher?
