Testy aren’t we. I scored it 116-112 for Ugas over the 12 rounds. Nothing complicated.

Actual scorecard. Which rounds did you give Ugas, which did you give Pacquiao? Also, that's applicable the RBR's to come. Score along with the rest of us. It's not that hard. You know... in the interest of full transparency.

I gave Pacquiao rounds 1,3, 9 and 11 the rest of the other 8 rounds I gave to Ugas. Also you don’t need to be so sensitive. Scoring the fight differently to you is not insulting. Though seriously I think you see different things from the judges because you allow yourself to be swayed by your pre-fight bias. I thought Ugas won clearly but was worried the judges might be swayed by the legend of Pacquiao and deprive Ugas of his deserved victory. Anyway I think we can all celebrate the great Pacquiao’s career who has been a credit to boxing.

@CST80 did you notice the contrast between both fighters on the night in Pacquiao throwing a lot more shots with little success and Ugas with his much lower volume scoring a much higher percentage of his shots thrown? A lot are saying this is down to Pacquiao’s age and while there is some merit in that I think we cannot get away from the fact that Ugas stylistically was a significant issue for Pacquiao. I never felt in any single round Pacquiao was comfortable against Ugas even in the rounds he won.

7-5 to Ugas, but man it could be more of a 8-4 type win.. i think Ugas fought a heck of a fight, stood right in front of manny the whole fight and outworked him with clean punches down the stretch. Manny is always in good fights, but hes definitely declined since his last fight. MAYBE he still has some gas in the tank, but why risk it? Theres too many younger guys in the division who are just too big and physically stronger than the aging Legend. Its time to walk away with his legacy cemented as one of the ATG fighters in Boxing history! No need to continue.

Hopefully it did well on PPV. The arena was sold out. Obviously Ugas won’t be paid as well as Spence would have been so hopefully more money in Pacquiao’s pocket.

Surely you can get a bloke of similar inclination to do that to you instead of requesting that from me who is not that way inclined.

Yes I think Ugas demonstrated the attributes of the Cuban school of boxing very well. Excellent counterpunching, defensive skills, pivots, persistent accurate jabs and body punching.

    Round 10 Ugas 10-9
    Round 11 Pacquiao 10-9
    Round 12 Ugas 10-9

Alright, all 4 of us agree on rounds 1 & 3.
    3 of us agree on rounds 9 & 11.
2 of us agree on 5.

    Two a piece outliers.
    IB has 4 & 9 for Ugas.
    I have 7 & 10 for Pacquiao.

In my defense, I only saw half of round 7, I got distracted. After going back and watching it and the 10th, I'm not married to either. I could flip one or both to Ugas, but.. I could also flip the 4th to Pac. And as I stated, or razor close win for Ugas was feasible.

So that's 3 of the best scorers on here, and you. None of us have identical scorecards. It was an incredibly competitive match, with many of the rounds decided by a few jabs or glancing hooks. No one sided domination. Anything from 115-113 Pacquiao to 116-112 Ugas is acceptable. It's irrelevant to me. So stop running your mouth and drop it. You're not schooling anyone on anything. It's just one of those pain in the ass conundrums to score. No one is going to see every round the same.

You'd have to be blind not to and of course he was a stylistic issue, combined with Manny being old as dirt and slow as hell. Neither man ever looked all that comfortable.

I think you are worse than an idiot, a certifiable moron and would never ask you to blow me off in any circumstances whatsoever but then again I am old school like that. I know in modern times some of you are a bit suspect but then again to each their own.
