@f1ght3rz is a disgraceful piece of dog **** of a man. Dude started riding Floyd's dick hardcore after he cowardly ducked a bet and created angry threads. It takes a real sissy man to jump ship due to hyper emotional reasons.

    GOAT contender for me

    8 division champion

    4 decades

Amazing run, on par with Duran for longevity and competitiveness.

    QFT.

But you know what, the more I watch the replays, Pac didn't actually look too bad.
I think the most notable decline was his head movement, if we assume that his leg cramp was what made his feet slower than usual (although leg cramping IS a sign of old age)
Pac's movements were still really fast. His combos still very fluid.
He was still beating Ugas to the punch, it's just that he wasn't able to solve the reach disadvantage.
Ugas just had the perfect gameplan, utilized his reach and size advantatge, employed Pac's weakness over and over: the looping right hand.
I also believe Pac looked a bit confused in there, and that could be the result of the short training time.

I think if Pac goes down to 140 and fight an aggressive fighter, he'd still look elite.

Not going to pretend to be some fedora wearing boxing “historian” so no specific number but obviously he has to be high up there. I don’t think we’re ever going to see another fighter with Manny’s unique talents.

I'm not a Floyd fan. I don't like Fluid at all. It's one of those fights where Fans can make a case for it being a close fight because of the clash of styles but in the end Floyd landed cleaner and more. Easy. The jab was key there. While Fluid was landing that jab consistently, Pacquiao was hitting air like a champion.

I just couldn't give credit to camacho for that win, that was not srl in there, just like I couldn't give credit to B level fighters beating an old ass rjj, I just shrug it off, just like I couldn't give full credit to ugas, watching the fight after round 2 i already knew he was done for, he wasn't the same. Being out in the ring for so long really isn't good for an old fighter, plus the last minute change of opponents. But somewhat agree with you that some credit needs to be given as both trained and had a good camp

Camacho was trash when Leonard fought him and Morales>Norris. Duran is generally ranked ahead of Leonard and Duran lost to various no hopers.

Erik Morales as shot when Pac beat him he lost to raheem the fight before. That was not a good win and that was a prime Norris that beat SRL that version of Erik Morales who beat and lost to Pac was not better than the version of Norris SRL lost to. Lastly Duran beat SRL which is one of the best wins in boxing history. Pac doesn't have a win within 100000 light years of that.

Are you trying to say Pac never beat anyone on Norris' level?

I'm saying that SRL's losses were not as bad as Pac's. SRL lost to a prime Norris who was a beast. Pac has bad losses and lost to bums SRL did not he lost to Duran Norris and Camacho. With that said Pac never beat anyone on Duran's Hearns or Hagler's level.

Pimp, take a look at @Rumsfeld new video thread. A very rational and unbiased review of Mannys career. Rummy puts him at 15-20 all time and in the conversation for top 10.

Slightly higher ceiling than Floyd, perhaps...Slightly lower floor, though.

For me, Manny is right around the guy who set the template for moving up from flyweight to welterweight, Jimmy Mclarnin. Last time I created an all time list, I had Jimmy around #25. But, on a good day, I feel like his ceiling is under Mickey Walker historically (who occupied my 15th or 16th slot, last time).

Interested to see what @McGrain thinks, given his positioning in his 2013 Top 100 list.
