He has no gas tank, None. Now he's facing a fast, highly skilled, high IQ fighter in Usyk How is his terrible gas tank going to cope. Discuss.
I dont think his gas tank is as bad when he comes in lighter. Looking at some videos I'm going to guess he will be around 235. Usyk is certainly all this things you describe but this isn't 2017/8 Usyk. He is slower and I dont think he can do the 12 in the same manor he did against Gassiev again.
Usyk vs Gassiev had nothing about gas tank. Gassiev need setup moments a bit longer and did not had such kind of am world class real superstar pedigree as Usyk did had. Usyk had work rate ( punches he is able to throw per round ), agility, experience, sharpness and speed vs Gassiev. He had used this. Like vs Briedis ( really razor close and barely had won this one cos Briedis hates very good movers ). Usyk then was in prime shape. Now he looks old, like Briedis too.
Joshua easily did 12 against Parker and Ruiz Jnr and had enough in his gas tank to come on strong in an 11 round war with Klitschko. I don’t buy into this rhetoric, he has phenomenal fitness for a man his size and build. It’s his punch resistance that concerns me far more.
The Wlad and Spud Ruiz fights show that energy leaves his body for long spells after taking a decent punch - if Wilder landed one on him he is either facing the roof or going to suffer serious blows with damage from Mr Octopus.
I could have done 12 against ruiz In Saudi the man was.an embarrassment coming in looking like that, as for Parker he is probably one of the worst heavyweight champions of all time. Joshua will know after 4 rounds he is in for an extremely hard night because usyk will not only physically tire him but mentally with his constant changes of pace and punching from unfamiliar angles. That being said the first time joshua lands properly clean I can see it being all over. I really rate usyk I just can't see him taking the power.
I haven't seen any footage but I think Joshua will be light, too. 240ish. I think the Joshua bout will be at a much slower pace than the Gassiev and Chisora bouts. Usyk showed no signs of looking tired against Chisora and I thought his footwork was impressive. Great to watch. I'm having a hard time calling Usyk Joshua. Usyk will need a KO to win, regardless of how well he performs. He may also have to deal with a dodgy referee. I hope for no controversial decision or TKO because this is maybe my favourite pairing in boxing.
Ohh, I think with natural beef meat the bodybuilder will come in at 255-260 lbs as bare minimum. Then he will rush on Usyk and gave his all gas tank in 3 minutes out. Punch, grab and push, clinch, rotate and push. Good if Usyk will be alive after 3 minutes with such scenario. The Bodybuilder via 1 st round win.
There is doing 12 rounds and Doing 12 rounds it’s like running the average person can run a mile but how many can run in under 6 min ? How many in under 5 min ? How many in under 4 min ? It’s the pace that makes the difference. As has been pointed out AJ set the pace against Parker and Ruiz 2 and coped as you would expect. If Usyk is able to force the pace it will be interesting to see just how good AJ’s tank is.
Whether you agree or disagree with the OP I just don’t know why you give him the time of day. He’s made about 7 new accounts in the past 10 days. Posts “controversial” threads, bumps old threats and generally chats ****. Just ignore the boring ****.
He just come and and said he trim and looking at the full 12. I think he will be at his lowest since his first few fights.
