Ridiculous debate. Without the steroids Morrison would've looked like his sons do now.

If you think Morrison performed "excellently" against Lewis, I suggest you rewatch their bout.

Morrison performed excellently against Morrison? Mercer did well against both Morrison and Lewis.

I don't fancy Morrison chances against Walcott or Moore. To be honest, I'd expect shot Louis to outbox him.

This. Morrison made too many mistakes and didn’t pace himself well, so I don’t see him doing well against Walcott or Moore.

I also agree that Louis even in his last fight despite no longer having a dangerous right hand still had an excellent jab that I don’t see Morrison easily dealing with, so Morrison could definitely get outpointed by Louis.

Bentt did not have to be a huge puncher, he hit Morrison with 10 or 20 good punches, no one can withstand that.

Now, if Bent and other average punchers would have taken out Morrison with just 1 punch, I'd completely agree with you, but given that Morrison was only taken out when he was hit with many power punches, some of them from huge punchers, then I cannot fault his chin.

I'm not saying Morrison had a granite chin or something, but it was more than good enough.
Same goes for Lewis, who's also labelled by many as having a glass chin. Yet his match with Mercer clearly shows otherwise.

Then there is no such thing as a fighter with a good chin as we would conventionally understand it.

By no means do I think Morrison wins, but I just looked up Bill Wilson and apparently his fight with Rocky only lasted 2 minutes due to a bad cut and the ref stepping in. He was apparently a big hefty guy at 230 lbs, but it's a little strange to use this fight as an indicator Rocky would be able to handle punches from a man that size since it was incredibly short and didn't even make it to the end of the 1st round (there was booing apparently). Not only that, but cuts usually interfere with your eyesight which diminishes your accuracy and concentration.

Walcott was more of a sharp shooter and delivered power with deadly accuracy and tricky herky jerky movement. Not a true one punch KO artist. I will say though, that it does bode well for Rocky that he ate that nasty counter and proceeded to go nearly 13 rounds before taking Walcott out. He obviously had great recovery and shook off the cob webs.

    Layne is pretty overrated.
This I agree with. Rocky did smother Louis in their fight, although he did miss many punches, his game plan eventually paid off. Louis got broken down and he struggled to land flush power punches since Rocky kept getting within his reach and he had no leverage outside of jabs and occasional left hooks before Rocky forced his way in.

Morrison would definitely have a hard time since he didn't have Louis' ATG jab and ring IQ. It would either be a slug fest or he'd be gasping for air after being smothered.
I really don't see Morrison being able to hit and run against Rocky. Foreman was very old and very slow, heavy, and lethargic in their fight. It was also the only time Morrison successfully used such tactics. Rocky isn't some sort of speed demon and he wasn't the best at cutting off the ring, but in this matchup his lighter weight means he'd certainly have an easier time than grandpa Foreman chasing Morrison. This tactic might work in spurts, but if he attempts to do it all night I think Rocky catches him at some point and forces him to engage.
