What fights has Canelo

"Clearly" I would argue only Mayweather and GGG

I didn't score Lara beating Canelo, and definitely not trout.

If he didn't grab stoppages in Kovalev & Saunders fights, I had those guys winning at the time of, so who knows.

 

GGG

 

I had Kov and Saunders clearly ahead, I thought GGG beat him twice, especially the rematch.

 

I had rematch 115-113 for Canelo, could have been a draw. I'm not mad at people saying GGG won both.

 

Mayweather was a clear loss. Lara was close-ish but you gotta really dominate if you're fighting that negatively. This is what I like about Canelo, he lost a fight to a slick boxer and then went after the next slickest boxer he could find. At the time I didn't appreciate that as much as I do in retrospect.

GGG 1 he lost the fight on the level of, if it happened in a parking lot I would have called it Canelo getting beaten up, but round by round it was surprisingly close IMO, I can see the draw but the best score to me is 7-5 GGG based on a rewatch that I did pretty recently. GGG 2 is similar except it was in Canelo's favor, could have been a draw easily.

Kovalev he was behind when the KO happened, he could have lost that fight. Saunders was close but Canelo was coming on. Of course it doesn't matter what happens early if you stop the opponent late.

 

GGG and Mayweather.

Trout was a close fight I had for Canelo and thought was ruined by the open scoring, and Lara was also close and I had for Lara.
Had Kov ahead at time of stoppage and Saunders behind at the time of stoppage.

 

Mayweather obviously. He had alot of close fights, with Trout, Lara and the first GGG fight was closer. But every great fighter in the history of boxing has had a rival that pushed them to their limit. Canelo is no different.

 

Mayweather, both Golovkin fights. Rewatched the Lara fight recently, and while close, he did just enough to win.

I had Kov and Saunders ahead also but the writing was on the wall in both of those fights and neither were fighting to win

 

Mayweather and Golovkin 1.

Anything else can be reasonable argued as a Canelo victory.

 

What's your scorecard for the Larry Moseley fight?

 

He lost clearly on points to Floyd Mayweather.

 

Canelo beat Lil G 116-112 on my scorecard. Though I can accept 115-113 Canelo as well.
