Disrespectful of Manny to refer to him as ''one of the easiest opponents he's faced.'' Yes Manny's trounced many better/way better fighters than Ugas and would've done the same to him too even a few years ago, let alone in his prime. But it's still disrespectful, especially considering Ugas was very respectful towards him.
I think it's a lost-in-translation thing. I think he meant to say it wasn't Ugas' style that bothered him, but rather his own body betraying him. Is this statement on video?
Could be I guess. Manny speaks very good English but it's obviously not his mother tongue and it might have come out differently than he intended it to. People have crapped on Loma and Usyk many times in the past for things they've allegedly said but I've seen lots of YT comments on these vids from Russian/Ukrainian speakers saying that their translators do a really poor job of translating what they've said and even when they speak in English it's obviously way more difficult for them to express themselves than it is in their native tongue.
He's only going to get worse from here and the fighting spirit and love for the game is going to get him hurt. Ugas beats a 43-year-old Pacquiao in a rematch. The legs, elite timing, and explosiveness are gone. Defense is quickly eroding. Quick hands and some deceptively crafty offensive skills are what he has now, but that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised if he continues on and racks up a couple more losses after failing in his bid for the presidency.
This content is protected I think Pac was just meditating/praying hard in that video. His eyes are completely fine here.
agreed, a bit dissapointing from the Pac Man and those words will look more foolish if he loses the rematch
HE said he doesn't know how or why he got into politics. Plus he goes round by round plan like it's damn boxing. Round 1, Stop corruption. Round 2. Economic growth and development. Round 3. Employment. Round 6. KTFO Doesn't say what he can provide for the country except making a maximum prison for corrupt politician. Get this fool out of interviews. He is corrupt himself. He bribe Makati college for his bogus political science degree he got in 3 months. Thanks you senior, Ugas for sparing us.
Yeah...your abslutely right. Pimp C It's the right time for Pacquiao to hang them up now. I don't wanna see Pacquiai ending up the same way as Roy Jones Jr. who got knocked out again and again after becoming a wahed-up fighter.
Manny should quit before he gets hurt. I've never understood fighters who don't know when to call it a day.
