Notice how these guys all have A+ aggressive inside game with mediocre or worse power? I've tried to explain this before. Maybe it clicks.
Yeah, mediocre/low power makes for interesting fighters who can box at range, counterpunch and have great games on the inside , especially American fighters. I would like to see this in EE fighters like Postol, Bivol etc. , guys who possess low power but box extremely well behind a jab at range but aren't so adept on the inside, it'll give a new dimension to their game . Kurbanov imitates Mayweather but he needs to polish his game a lot more.
Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield and Mike Tyson were all very proficient in the art. Ricky Hatton thought he could fight dirty until he met Professor Floyd Mayweather who showed him he was highly proficient in the darker ring arts as well.
If Holyfield makes this list, then surely Tyson does, too, considering that he was far dirtier than Holyfield. Headbutting (he did plenty of it himself and with far more aggression and clear intention), trying to break the arms of opponents, hitting after the bell, hitting the referee, biting segments of ears off. What didn't he do? Granted, he isn't one of the "best" fighters (nowhere near the standard of Holyfield) so perhaps that's why.
