Some classics from Tuesday Night Fight (not sure if you can still find all of them and its been a while since I've seen them) Kip Diggs vs Tony Martin Kip Diggs vs Derrel Coley Sam Hampton vs Obed Sullivan if you can believe it. As not Tuesday Night Fights but still good ones Terry Norris vs Troy Waters George Foreman vs Alex Stewart
If you’re looking for brutal wars that gets almost no attention you should really check these ones out. This content is protected This content is protected This content is protected
Great shout on Gomez v Arthur - I mind watching that at the time and being blown away Gomez was a tough cookie - obviously being a Scot I was rooting for Arthur, but Gomez obviously got the stoppage - it was back and forth, a real slugfest! I think Arthur might look back on this one and think it might have came out different if he had stuck to his boxing smarts rather than engaging, but I think Gomez would probably still have worn a pretty young Arthur down the stretch anyway. Great fight and brings back a ton of memories - Meadowbank Stadium doesn't even exist today
Been repping for a decade but seldom see... Maybe I'm on my own but Calderon vs. Segura I was incredible.
No one ever seems to mention the Paul Ingle v Junior Jones tussle. Back and forth, KDs on both sides and a brutal end which is classic Junior Jones mandible failure. This content is protected
Michael Brodie v Injin Chi was a war of contrition. Another from JMM was his fight against Michael Katsidis. Talking of Katsidis his fight with Graham Earl was somewhat one sided but exciting while it lasted and Somsak Sithchatchawal v Mahyar Monshipour (that was FOTY IIRC) Rafa Marquez had a great trilogy with Israel Vasquez too.
Israel Vasquez Vs Jhonny Gonzalez - YouTube Gonzalez beat up Vasquez early, knocking him down a few times. It looked like Vasquez was done but he came back and stopped Gonzalez in the 10th. An underrated fight no one seems to talk about.
Just trying to list one that hasnt been mentioned yet... I dont see Spadafora vs Dorin mentioned very often, but wasnt a bad scrap.
Coetzer always showed up to throw down win, lose or draw. This content is protected This one is also an underrated gem.
