I think it was intended as a 'blow off the cobwebs' type of fight, trying to rebuild his confidence after the Arthur defeat.

 

Typical Warren putting his hype job who’s going nowhere in with a bag of cement and lo and behold no one learns a F thing about anything! He then fights a decent opponent and tank empties and everyone else to blame! Yarde is half a Yarde short of world level guys!!! Move on……Same goes for DDD who will get found out every time he gets to a decent level opponent! Frank said he was the best young HW he’d every seen…….zzzzzzzz

 

For some reason I thought that he'd had a fight since that defeat. Not sure why I thought that. It was such a strange opponent. Shot to pieces, blown up middleweight who went down from the first meaningful shot.

I hope 2 mins and 32 seconds was enough time for him to try out all the things he'd been working on in the gym.

I don’t think that fight rebuilt any confidence. He looked embarrassed! I don’t know what that 2 minutes is going to have done to help him avenge a loss against Arthur. If you want to be generous you could see it was a nice combo but even I can throw a combo against a punch bag. When Arthur is prodding that jab in his face will he still be able to throw it?
