You are the idiot that types ROFL and other immature stuff The irony of a floyd obsessed idiot like you telling anyone to grow up lol
Floyd Mayweather To accept you have glass hands back in the early 2000's Become more defensive Use injections on your hands and go through multiple surgeries cherry pick your way through over a decade of the end of your career whilst becoming the highest paid fighter ever in the process. In a sport that is extremely unforgiving Floyd took no prisoners whilst building his persona. What he achieved outside of the ring is remarkable. To conclude Bob Arum can suck a lemon. If Floyd was your average Joe mentally he wouldn't have managed to prolong his career like he did. There is some innate intelligence there that is hard to pinpoint, he knows what sells.
Pacquiao. He showed mental toughness when he comeback strong after getting TKO by JMM. We see what happened to many boxers, Jones comes to mind, after they suffered TKO. Pacquiao defeating undefeated top welterweight Thurman at age 40 also shows mental toughness.
Larry Holmes deserves a mention. In his 40’s he destroyed Ray Mercer in an action packed fight and went the distance with a peak Evander Holyfield.During His Championship reign he Climbed off the canvas from a devastating right hand from Earnie shavers and convincingly stopped him in round 11.Fought toe to toe with Norton the last 3 rounds even though he had a handy lead.Boxing experts were building up Gerry Cooney as the ‘great white hope’ and expected him to beat Holmes, but Holmes annihilated him.
I'm not saying he was mentally the toughest ever but Nigel Benn just had a ferocious mindset. When he knew they were bringing McClellan over to "beat him up" this just fired him up. Knocked through the ropes in round 1 and dropped in the 8th. Benn never contemplated defeat.
