£8 a month!!! Eddie signed a full new stable or something? Can't be charging £8 for the Watford rat and Connor Benn

Also that Smith v Fowler would have been on a usual Fight Night, same as Fitz v Fowler was. That was the last good Sky Fight Night and it's over 2.5 years ago.

Remember Fight Nights were all part of your normal Sky package. Which incidentally hasn't got down, even though they show no boxing now. Absolute conmen and frauds everywhere.

I think £7.99 is too much for what they currently have. Joshua and Canelo next fights are not on the platform. When they are, I bet price goes up again. £4.99 would have been fair at minute imo, and £7.99 if Joshua/Canelo were on channel. I will properly cancel and dip in and out depending on the month a head's schedule.

the introductory offer of £1.99 UK / €1.99 per month will be replaced for new customers on August 31 with a new £7.99 / €7.99 pm price point. Existing UK & Ireland subscribers will be moved to £7.99 / €7.99 pm following a migration period from September 30, completed by November 6.

Interesting they didn't announce price increase for us in mainland Europe. And we get to see AJ as well. Would be happy to pay 8€/month though with the lack of other options.

Strangely enough I've had both since they started, and never, ever use Netflix now - only ever Prime. Nothing non Netflix I'd want to watch.

My other half is the exact opposite.

Disney? A catalogue of all time classic movies and TV shows.

Amazon? Free same day delivery, returns plus music and TV/film.

Netflix? A boat load of content.

DAZN? Conor Benn acting hard and Eddie Hearn gurning.

It was inevitable that prices would go up but this is the price point you would expect for when they've fully established themselves with a track record and a host of sports.

I like Eddie Matchroom etc but an unbiased view, it hasn’t been worth £8 a month or close to it so far - seems very weird to put the price up when you haven’t really offered much yet. Someone said “too far too soon” and I agree, they could’ve at least waited so they could say “oh what about that show, remember how great that was” etc

They’ve got this one wrong, many will be cancelling and I can’t blame them.

I will be cancelling once my first month is up in the middle of Sept unless Eh Day announces before then that all his stable including Joshua will be shown on DAZN in the future for no extra cost.

It would be rude to cancel today and miss the Warrington fight on Saturday.

£7.99 was what I expected, though I was also expecting an annual pass for £49.99 or so.

Hopefully that will come as a Black Friday special or something, because I would dive in for an up front 'discounted' rate.

As a monthly subscription, I will think carefully. If we have a card like Leeds/Liverpool each month, I would consider keeping it. However, if not, I will dip in and out. Given that I'll inevitably buy both Joshua-Usyk and Fury-Wilder, I'd like to keep the boxing costs down before Christmas.

Hopefully the schedule for the rest of the year will come out soon to make the decision a bit easier. I want DAZN to succeed, so come on Eddie, announce some good cards for us soon - preferably including 'PPV star' fighters like Whyte and Chisora.

I have cancelled and ticked the price as the reason.

If they get hit with huge numbers unsubscribing, then as the Jocks say - sent him homeward, tae think again
