Yes indeed. Good to see Franga make parole on his third attempt. Just stay 200m away from schools & you'll be right.
He's decent. Definitely one of our top half dozen pros but inactivity is going to kill his chances of winning a world title. He looked hopelessly underdone last time out & has had hand surgery & no fights since. By my estimation, he would need another 3 or 4 fights to get himself into the kind of fighting shape that would make him competitive in a world title tilt. I mean, he hasn't even faced the best fighters at his weight from this part of the world. You can't expect to win a world title without having done that as a bare minimum. Love him as a talent but needs more work before taking a world title fight.
He was a phenom in his youth days as an am. Fighting and beating grown men in his teens to catapult him into the world scene. Very athletic and quick of hand. Somewhat slick but can have lapses of concentration which have seen him get caught by punches his skills and style shouldn't be allowing. Pro career has been plagued by injuries and meaningful fights not materialising. He may not be ready for the top contenders because we just haven't seen him against that level of opposition yet. Talks him fighting the Pole lad for the vacant or interim title. Cieslak isn't anything special but he has a real fighters mentality and is well blooded to fighting in adverse conditions.
Might happen that he will get title fight vs Briedis if Cieslak fight will fall out here. Cieslak promoter and managers looks that are damn very interesting people. Briedis per se in general had agreed to fight vs mandatory installed by IBF long months ago, looks that they can't finalize negotiations and this looks that isn't Briedis or his handlers fault. Might happen that IBF will order Opetaia vs Briedis for IBF World Cruiserweight title. Will see next week.
That Geoff Horn kid was a complete fraud. All he ever did in a fight was foul. Anti boxing just like that Solimon kid.
I wonder if the Berry kid is still waiting to hear back from his "team" regarding the next step in his pro boxing journey. I'm interested to see how the kid progresses as he shows potential but at his age time is running out.
No one for him to root for now, his favorite local Journeymen fighters have been pushed out of boxing.
the moloney brothers are journeymen huh? ok then, if u thinks so. some people here are more interested in paul gallen and sbw than our ranked fighters unfortunately.
They're alright, why don't you support Tszyu though? Easily has the most promise, but then again.... He busted up, and retired your crush Jeff Horn, so I can see why there might be some apprehension to jump on the hype train.
