How Do People Rate Vitali Klitschko Ahead Of Wlad?

People do? I must have missed that.

 

H2H I do . On resume Wlad all day.

 

Those who rate Vitali ahead do it on the grounds that they believe Vitali would win if they were ever to fight.

 

??? Nobody does

 

I agree that in terms of resume, there is a lot of clear blue water between them.

 

I think it comes from silly reasoning for some. “Vitali would beat Wlad H2H, so he pretty much has the same resume in theory only he is better”

 

Chris Byrd said Vitali was a better technical boxer, was tougher, stronger, better chin and unlike Wladimir, he could fight on the inside if he want it.
Wladimir, however, was a MUCH MUCH MUCH harder puncher.

 

i think Vitali's power was better too so it wasn't just chin and durability.

ratings are so subjective as ppl have said could be h2h could be resume. could be based on who made more exciting fights. now, neither of these guys were exactly blockbusters in that respect, but Vitali vs Sanders, Lewis, and Peter were legitimately memorable and exciting fights. Wlad's most memorable fights are his KO losses.

so yeah I guess I'd rate them differently based on which criteria but i've also seen them just get tie rankings in some lists which i think is kind of fitting. but i don't think it's mind-boggling that some people rate Vitali higher, especially because Vitali never suffered any humiliating defeats. Which I don't begrudge Wlad personally (all my favorites have them) but some fans will rank someone higher based on just them never having been definitively destroyed, which Vitali never was.

 

Vitali was mentally tougher by a good margin and had a visible mean streak. I like that. 2 of the reasons I rate him higher

 

who did he beat ?

 

Nobody rates Vitali as better than Wlad on resume.
