Who are some fighters who you think don't deserve Hall of Fame status, add a reason to please. I don't this just to be a hate thread on fighters just because you don't like them.

Vitalli - AJ and Fury have better resumes. Could even debate Whyte and Povetkin do also.

Beat Pedroza right? plus he was too influential as a figure not to be a HOFer, had a good jab too.

McGuigan is a legend for his outside the ring activism and his in ring brilliance. The Clones Cyclone was a force to be reckoned with, a very fearsome puncher.

Vit's probably beat more mid level guys and live bodies than Fury and Joshua , the guys on his resume trump majority of Fury and Joshua's resume except Wlad (Puritty did but that's another conversation)

Corrie Sanders alone was leagues better than the likes of Parker, Whyte, Takam etc.

One great win and being popular shouldn't be hof worthy imo

Barry was a good fighter, but it's his popularity that got him into the hof

I guess you could say that about many

    Disagree.

Vitallis best win is probably between Chisora and Sanders. Whyte and Parkers resume are better than both (Sanders apart his shock upset against Wlad only beat journeyman his whole career).

    It's so damn annoying.

The problem, for me, is that there needs to be clarification on the context. Yes Gatti got in but it was because of his blood and guts style and the entertainment he provided. In that regard, I can see why you would include a fighter like him in the Hall of Fame. They are essential components of the sport. However most people view the Hall of Fame as a Hall of Talent and Achievement, so Gatti appears an aberration and unworthy. Therefore we get a bunch of people who compare an apple to an orange.

Arturo Gatti epitomised boxing, every time he got in the ring he gave 110%. What he lacked in boxing ability he made up for in sheer guts & bravery. I'd vote for him & others like him rather than some of the divas & prima donnas that are enshrined because of who they know rather than their worth

I think the HOF should be concerned with inducting the greats, not the very goods. I don't see these men as meeting that criteria:

Naseem Hamed, Julian Jackson, Ingemar Johansson, Buddy McGirt, Barry McGuigan, Khaosai Galaxy, Ray Mancini, Arturo Gatti, Brian Mitchell, etc.

I can understand putting McGuigan, Gatti, and others in for other reasons (e.g. entertainment value, influence outside of the ring, etc.) and I'm not a stickler on this point, but I would prefer if boxing was stricter in its voting process. The problem is that the sport has too much grey area because of too many belts and classes to have that much clarity.

I think no one outside from US had cared about empty noises called HOF, ATG and other bull****.
It is US thing, local and sorry, no one cares about this outside of US.

Deserved or not deserved, pro boxing is to earn $ not to get appreciation from small bunch of fourms posters.
More than 99% ppl who are paying for tickets and ppvs does not post in forums boxing sections and does not do comments on YT channels about boxing.

Pro boxing is very small niche even in US and from pro boxing fans, very small percentage are posting in forums.
While ppl who are doing this are thinking: they are all world.

I'll climb in the foxhole with you on this one. Gatti (RIP) definitely should NOT be in the HOF. He lost twice to Ivan Robinson, lost on cuts to Angel Manfredy, was completely blown out by DeLaHoya and Mayweather, and needed three fights to establish superiority against Micky Ward.
