Tony Bellew was on Talksport this morning selling the pup known as DAZN UK. Certainly is out of sight, out of mind for the general public.
People used to know and feel it was a big event such as Haye v Klitschko in Hamburg when Bluffer appeared but he is seen at anything since including the first KSI v Logan Paul fight in Manchester.
It is the biggest commercial radio station around and lets not forget they have a ground breaking deal with terrestrial tv channel tba apparently.
His loaded. I thought he signed a exclusivity deal with DAZN & Matchroom so matchroom can use him whenever they want.
I thought his appearance at Hampden was the weirdest: This content is protected Still great, but obviously willing to MC the opening of an envelope these days if it pays well.
There were DAZN adverts before the trailers at the VUE cinema last week. Must have been hoping those there to watch a Cold War spy drama were boxing fans. Another point, I’ve seen a lot of thick people on Twitter insistent that AJ fights are on DAZN. Earn going to have a lot of disappointed followers I think.
Buffer used to do wrestling in the 90s. He's always after the money. Who can blame him. A very easy job and pays silly money. Not sure why people are saying he's over used. Don't recall him doing anything in the covid era?
It is being advertised on DAZN as it is live nearly all over the world except a small number of locations including the UK - it is very sly.
Certain I read before that midway games paid him $100 mil to licence the ready 2 rumble phrase for a video game.
They are pushing it. They certainly not going cheap when it comes to marketing and ad campaigns. Just not sure even if the adverts resonate with people once they actually check it out and see its so heavily weighted too just boxing content that they actually sign up. This content is protected
If its still going to be hop on / hop off, I'll sign up for a month if there's a card I really want to see and then cancel. Once I see what Sky have to offer, I need to weigh up my options. Will likely cancel sky sports as well tbh.
