I agree. Watch Wlad against Haye, for example. Wlad vs Haye and Wlad vs Fury are completely two different fighters.
41 year olds who have been in wars since they were teenagers are NOT "better than ever". How is this hard to understand? Did you see how bad he looked in there vs. AJ compared to any other fight in his career? Did you watch the Pac fight? Can you imagine how ridiculous some Ugas superfan would sound saying "Pac was the most motivated ever, he was the best version of himself!"
I think AJ has a good all round game. I don't think he travels well, though, and that had a lot to do with what happened against Ruiz. The second fight anyone would have beaten Ruiz.
Spare us your bias, he's a good fighter, yes there are many flaws but he's no fraud. If you listened to the early hype you may believe he's a fraud but Sky always do that with British heavyweights.
Yeah yeah treacle such a sad loser. When AJ knocks out Usyk and Fury you will be looking for more excuses.
lol you dont become a multiple belt holder at hw if your a fraud.. and this is from a usyk fan.. stop being a hater you dont got to like joshua but atleast use your head.
More than that, Wlad knew that Steward said that Fury was the biggest threat to him and Wlad earmarked Fury as a potential rival the same year Steward said that: 2012. Wlad was also fighting in Germany, pulling all sorts of shenanigans (clearly insecure) but wasn't going to get away with anything in Britain against AJ. Before the fight Wlad said that Fury moved well, was taller, rangier and heavier than himself and was hungry to win: aka he recognised Fury as his most dangerous challenger in years, possibly ever. He also knew that Fury had supreme arrogance and competitiveness from his dismissive, mocking attitude to the great Wlad and the sauna battle in 2011. Smart gamblers make money in the gap between reality and the dominant public narrative. If the narrative that Wlad had an off-night and Wilder is a bum are true, then maybe AJ has a good chance, despite going life and death with an on paper considerably inferior Wlad and being beaten up and quitting against a fat Mexican nobody. But if Fury's top 2 wins are considerably better than anything AJ has ever done, then AJ's very likely getting beaten up and stopped.
I thought he looked good in his AJ fight, looked sharp, motivated. I don't think he was physically in his prime obviously but I do think mentally he went in there with a point to prove. This wasn't the Wlad that was too scared to pull the trigger like he was in Jennings and Fury fights.
You need to laugh your ass off because you will soon be crying when the 2 time unified heavyweight champion of the world becomes undisputed champion.
