Lara vs Warrington next week

I’d just like to see him fight someone more current. I know the bigger names would get more interest but the Avanesyan fight is a great one. They were all for making Benn v Kelly if Kelly beat Avanesyan, so why not Benn v Avanesyan.

 

Avanesyan isn’t a winnable fight.

I’d like to see Benn vs Josh Kelly. Unfortunately not happening any time soon now.

Yeah I think it’s the fact Kelly was a massive hype job rather than Avanesyan being brilliant. He got KO’d by Kavaliauskas who recently got stopped by a top prospect in Ortiz Jr.

 

He’s very good, regardless of the Josh Kelly fight. He’s easily a top 10 fighter in the division. Let’s not forget it weren’t too longer ago people on here were saying that Benn wouldn’t go past area level. Don’t let the matchroom PR spin convince you now he’s brilliant.

 

Nah no chance I'm falling for the shtick I just don't believe you have to be brilliant to beat Avanesyan.i would give Benn a reasonable chance of beating him...although that opinion might change after tonight.

 

There’s no way Hearn touches Avenesyan with a barge pole to be Benn’s next opponent. Very dangerous but very unfashionable. I’d have massive respect for Benn if he does end up going down that route but I think Avenesyan is firmly in the ‘who needs him’ club. Somewhere along the line if Benn does the business tonight I think it’ll be a fight against Brook/Khan to try and catapult Benn into the household name/PPV bracket.

I was at that too, supporting Frampton while surrounded by Leeds fans in their finest stone island.
Horrible atmosphere, horrible result.

 

You honestly couldn't get 20,000 bigger tramps if you tried than Warrington's fans, People from Syria and Afghanistan are posh compared to those inbred arse wipes.

 

All stood in the concourse singing Leeds songs until the main event. Toilets full of lads smoking and doing coke.

Just watched the fight back. Costello seems to have got the Matchroom memo already, describing it as a ‘fantastic start from Warrington’ after 60 seconds despise him barely throwing anything.

Can also hear Bellew shouting instructions to Warrington all the way through round 2. Besides him being an insufferable pr!ck it must also be frustrating for trainers of fighters when they’re trying to give instructions and have come up with a game plan and you’ve just got Bellew screeching at them.
