    Scary thought- Gerald Mceallan was 190lbs at one point on fight night. Imagine if Foster could shed 30lbs or so and come in at 147lbs

    It won't weaken him in the slightest to lose 7lbs lol.

    Obviously he would be a monster at that weight, but it is always a very deep weight class.

    Nonsense. McClellan was no taller than 6 feet. Stockier guys like Kovalev and Ward who are just as tall (or taller) don't weigh 190 in the ring.

    Foster at SMW would have interesting fights. He probably loses to Ward.
    He would end up at 175 and be stronger for it since he would not have to make weight half a day before fighting.

    Whatever your beliefs 30lbs cuts are possible. A 155lbs Foster is the second coming of SRR.

    It's intriguing to think about what Robinson himself would have done to his contemporaries if he had (sole and exclusive) access to modern "nutrition," training, weight cutting / rehydration methods, etc.

    Can you show me a reliable source that says McClellan weighed 190 in the ring?

    It would have been interesting Foster against Ward I have that fight being really close, could go either way for me. Again Foster against Calzaghe would have been another interesting one.

    Some people forget actually how good a Foster, it isn’t out of the realms of possibility that he could beat Calzaghe, Ward and Jones.
