As far as I remember the fight wasn't as good as the drama, something happened and Kovalev and his corner got pissed off at Beterbiev. When Beterbiev came to shake hands and make up, Kovalev pushed him and his corner too started yelling at Bet. Can't seem to find the video though now despite having seen it a month ago or so , @From.Russia have you seen this video and if so can you find it?
They both battled for a place in a national olympic team. The head coach of russian national team back then, said Kovalev won early rounds, but Artur was better in later round. The coach of russian boxing captain, said that Kovalev dominated. At the end of the day BTR became number 1 in russian team and went to Peking olympics and Chicago boxing championship, while Kovalev got tired of rivalry with Korobov and BTR, unfair judges and quit amateur boxing in 2008.
