I’m hoping the third fight greatly disappoints financially. If they want to keep forcing us to watch the same fight over and over again, I hope they make little money, and turn off fans doing it. I never watched the second fight live, the first fight was conclusive enough, and everyone knew Fury would win again in the rematch, this rematch is beyond ridiculous.
It simply doesn't happen*. If Wilder somehow wins the third I don't see him seeking another encounter with Fury. They would spin it as 2:1 going on the 'long count' in the first fight and the 'betrayal' in the second and either seek to make the big money cash out with Joshua or go back to the careful matching policy which they followed successfully up until the world's worst cherry pick turned out to be very sour indeed. *unless somehow 3 makes an insane amount of money, which I don't think it will?
Whomever wins is going this route and The WBC will not interfere for obvious reasons($$$$$). At that point if AJ beats Usyk and winner Fury/Wilder will probably be at its financial potential peak. All guys vulnerabilities are already known so there will be no fear of being exposed.
Don't worry, we've reached the point where they don't even force you to watch the fight, just the trash talk and social media clips.
People will realize in this 3rd bout that you basically can't knock out a prime 270 pound Fury. Just like Foreman. Wilder will win maybe 1 or 2 early rounds before Fury dominates to a decision victory. 118-110 Fury. 3rd bout is the best of the bunch. Make sure you order your PPV.
Can go either way. Not convinced Fury is any where near the standard he was pre the multiple retirements, coke and food binge plus had always had a glass jaw. Whilst Wilder is extremely limited fighter with acherry picked padded record against poor opposition and has avoided big punchers his whole career like the plague (got dropped by glancing body punch by a guy not known to carry power). However going on the past 2 fights, you would have to favour Fury. Whoever wins I would be amazed if they fight any of the top guys such AJ, Usyk, Whyte and Hunter next.
If Wilder was on jelly legs entering the ring last time coming off an official draw in which he knocked Fury down twice, what will his legs be like when entering the ring coming off the first and only KO defeat of his career, all of the associated fallout and career long inactivity? What happens when Fury starts putting it on him and he gets ptsd flashbacks of the first fight? Wilder isn't the guy to go rounds with and Fury will want to finish this emphatically; he's going to gas out even earlier and then it's only a matter of time. 36 minutes may as well be an eternity to stop Wilder.
