Denis Boytsov recovery?

Always wondering how he was doing. He was a great HW prospect who's potential was ruined by alcoholism. Great combination puncher in his earlier days.

God, that's terrible. Never knew he was in such a condition.

 

Yeah it's ****ed up.... apparently he got hit on the head somewhere in Germany on a subway.

 

Yes he was attacked by some guys late in night ( I believe on the same day as Floyd vs Manny) and he suffered some serious neurological problems. I read somewhere he had gotten better, but from the video above sadly he isn't. Horrible just incredibly horrible.

 

He got mugged at a train station and left for dead. Serious brain trauma.

 

Unbelievable that you can be a top tier heavyweight and still get mugged and fkd up on a subway. Throws all of the self defense crap out of the window.
They can strike you on back of your head with a tire iron and you would never even know it.

Is it confirmed he was attacked? I always heard it was alcohol and a bad fall on a railway line.

 

He wasn't attacked. German court ruled it an accident. He was intoxicated and fell on the tracks apparently. Not sure why so many people believe he was attacked.

Sad. And horrible.

 

Man, what a tragic story.

Just show how life is such a delicate thing, appreciate every moment because stuff like this can happen to anyone.
